Championship: Sean Dyche welcomed the historic victory at Blackburn Burnley



Sean Dyche praised his side after 2-1 Burnley recorded a historic victory over local rivals Blackburn, which saw claim their first derby victory East Lancashire since the 1970s.

The Clarets had disappeared behind a clinical strike Jordan Rhodes, but they fought back and captain Jason Shackell headed level before the ubiquitous Danny Ings hit the winner.

Burnley boss Dyche admitted he was never worried about his side goes behind .

"I thought the guys delivered a good overall performance , but credit to Blackburn, they have made it very difficult as they would in a big game like this," he said.
